Hi do you know if this is a universal fit. I have a thru hole on my lever mount and wanted to make sure it had a stop and does not need to be threaded into the lever.
Answer QuestionThat's correct, there's no threaded upper portion on these mirrors. Of course, the lowest part of the stem that fits through the hole, is threaded and capped off with the included nut (5/16-24"). The washers you see on the stem act as the upper stop as there's an abutment on the stem itself to keep those washers from moving upward.
