Perfect. Thank you

Great pipe

I have this pipe on my 98 YZ 250. The FMF makes far more off the bottom and midrange with no loss of top end. Its far better than the stock pipe.

Nice product and quality.

Nice pipe for woods bike

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Great pipe! Had to mount the front bolt and grommet opposite direction as stock, but otherwise bolted right up. O rings came installed but went ahead and put on fresh springs and coupler. Very smooth roll on from bottom to top paired with a Shorty silencer. Perfect for woods racing.

Answer Question

Will a Pro Circuit R-304 silencer fit on the FMF Fatty pipe for my 1997 Suzuki RM80? Is an exhaust gasket included each pipe sold?

Just about every FMF pipe we sell is designed to fit silencers of any kind that work with the stock pipe. So long as the silencer on your machine fits the stock pipe, you should have no problem fitting FMF's RM80 fatty pipe to your machine. As far as the gaskets go, yes, those are included in the kit so you'll have a proper seal at the RM80's exhaust port.

Answer Question

I have a Kawasaki KX125. Is the pipe supposed to have 3 dents on the side that faces the bike?

Yes, absolutely! It's not at all unusual to see what appear to be dents on a brand new FMF pipe. Many of FMF's pipes have what appear to be dents on the sides that face the bike or in places that are near the radiator, engine or bodywork. The dents are carefully engineered to provide clearance between the pipe and the bike in order to maximum engine performance and throttle response.

Answer Question

Does it come with springs?

Most FMF pipes do not include exhaust springs, in which case you are to re-use the OEM springs. Should the FMF pipe's design be significantly different that stock and requires a particular set of springs, they'll be included with the pipe.

Answer Question

what type of jetting and needle stuff do i need for the pipe

Without knowing exactly what machine it is that you have, we cannot say for sure what kind of jetting will be required. That said, we do make a wide range of FMF carburetor jet kits that come with everything you need to work with any of FMF exhaust system. In each kit you will find easy-to-understand instructions as well as a range of components to tailor fueling to your machine's exact needs.

Answer Question

What type of jetting will I need? My bike is a 2000 kx125. It has a fmf fatty high range pipe on it now

While it's impossible to say exactly what jetting will work best with your needs due to factors such as your bike's overall state of tune, where you do most of your riding and the fuel used, a good baseline may be as follows. Keep in mind, these recommendations are for a bike that's running a 32:1 fuel-to-oil mix ratio using a 50/50 mix of race fuel and super-unleaded gasoline and ridden at around sea level. Main jet: 160 Pilot jet: 45 Fuel needle position: 3rd Power jet: stock Air screw: 1.5 Those settings may not be perfect for your needs, but they serve as an excellent starting point to get the most out of your bike. From there, common jetting adjustments will apply to get you truly dialed in for the best possible throttle response and engine power output.

Answer Question

Does the pipe come with gaskets?

All FMF pipes come equipped with the O-ring gaskets to seal the pipe to the factory exhaust port on the stock cylinder head.

By Staff
Answer Question

Is this a left side pipe

All FMF Fatty pipes are a complete header pipe for each particular model and exit the motorcycle on the same side as the stock pipe. If your machine has more than one cylinder, both pipes would be included - one for each side. For example, a Yamaha YFZ350 Banshee would have both pipes included in the kit.
