The quintessential classic exhaust from Vance & Hines. Recognizing the fact that the traditional straight-cut and staggered look never goes out of style, Vance & Hines Straightshots are fabricated with one-piece 2-1/2" full-length heat shields that yield a seamless and blue-proof appearance.
Where required, Straightshots are also fitted with oxygen sensor ports for compatibility with late model big twins, and come with louvered core baffles fitted as standard. These baffles can easily be removed in case you're after a little more noise. As is standard with all Vance & Hines exhausts, every components is manufactured in the USA.

Are straight shots drag pipes? Or do they have the same 2-1 technology as the big shots?

Vance & Hines Straightshots are a true dual exhaust system. That is, there is no crossover between the pipes. Each cylinder's exhaust gases are directed straight out without being fed into the other cylinder's exhaust flow.
I see the description states equipped with 18mm O2 sensor ports, my bike is a 2004 Harley Softtail Hertitage Classic (FLSTC) it does not have O2 sensors, is that generic wording in the description or do I need to find another product without O2 ports? Also can you advise if the top pipe runs under the rear foot peg (as a Heritage should) or in between like a (fanboy). I ask because both heritage and fatboy are showing the same part number 325822, same as fuel injected (which has O2 sensors)

Since the same exhaust fits essentially every Softail model built between 1986 and 2011, Vance & Hines includes an oxygen sensor port as a provision to fit the OEM sensors. It's really a production/inventory measure on their part. Other than the O2 sensor ports, all other components on the exhaust are exactly the same between fuel-injected and carbureted Softails. We do our best not to include generic wording in any of our descriptions.
In order to fit this exhaust to your machine, you'd need to acquire a two 18mm x 1.5mm oxygen sensor plugs.
As for your second question, the OEM passenger footpegs will be located above the Straightshots exhaust system.
Do you offer Heat shields? I like to ride in shorts and have a couple of burned spots.

I have a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500cc E
While none of our suppliers offer model-specific aftermarket heat shields to fit the Vulcan 1500, we do have a few universal parts that may fit your needs. Samson offers various diameter and length heat shields. Another brand to look at would be a Cobra Heat Shield Assembly. Both of those units are well-made and come with everything to position them exactly where you need.
