Installed on a 2018 street glide special 107, VH headers, stage 2 cam's, tuner. Same as stock at idle, a little bit louder than stock when you gas it. If you want to hear your radio at mid volume these are the slip-on's for you. If you want cars to hear you don't buy these!

I see it says tips sold separately, does this pipe come with any tips to get started or is it just a straight pipe with no tips?

Answer QuestionWhen it comes to slip-on mufflers, the OEM ECU can usually handle the change in fuel delivery without issue. You may not notice any difference, other than sound - or you may notice the bike tends to hesitate at certain power settings or engine speeds. In the instance you find the bike runs to your satisfaction, then all is well. In the instance you find that the bike doesn't run to your liking, we recommend the addition of a Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller. It's simple to install and very easy to configure for your bike's needs. And, it can all be set up to run without the need to take a trip to the dyno.

Answer QuestionIf you're comparing sound output from the stock exhaust - yes, absolutely! The OEM mufflers just don't let the engine breathe the way it wants to. Bassani's mufflers flow a lot more exhaust than the stock design, so you can expect to hear a lot more from the engine!
