I purchased these for my husband's 2013 Street Glide and after installing them and turning on the bike, these pipes sound amazing! Crisp and loud! So happy with how they look on the bike, it's a nice addition to the old ones and the slash look is fire. Highly recommend these pipes

I have a set of these on my 2003 roadking. So I decided to put them on my 21 roadglide. The left side slip on was very loose and after fighting the clamp they sent I ended up throwing it in garbage and used the original clamp. If you want them to be louder remove the baffles.

Cant go wrong with Vance and Hines, these slip ons offer quality chrome, and a nice throaty bark when you hop on it, and they don't drone on the highway so you can hear yourself think (or listen to music).

These met my expectations - but then that is why I stayed with Vance and Hines. They have been delivering high quality Harley Davidson products for years now. This is not the first time I've purchased V&H exhaust products, nor will it be my last. Great fit and finish.

I have a 2010 ultra classic that was completely stock. I had been doing a lot of reading on different aftermarket pipes. I had come down to buying the V&H. 1st reason was the cost, 2nd for the great reviews of others. 3rd was the looks. I am supper happy that I went this direction! It took less than a half hour to take my stock pipes off and install the V&H. They sound and look great! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up and get out!

This is my 2nd time using these V&H slip on mufflers. Loud when on the throttle yet reasonable when cruising. I already had V&H headers on my 2009 Street-Glide. Love them.

Love the look and sounds great, the fitting was not too bad,I have a 2013 v star 950 and the only difficulty I encounter was the heat shields on the bike had to be re-positioned, I had to move them all forward to allow the slip on muffler to line up with the bolts on the bottom bracket on the bike, but other than that was not so bad to install, looking to get a fuel pack now to eliminate the pop now, overall very happy with the purchase.
By ChromeFatty on
It's a good slip-on for the money. Generally speaking, the installation for simple and they look good. They are flow through however, yet maintain a relatively quiet sound. They at least sound like a Harley. I was hoping that they would have a louder sound. They did give the bike a little performance increase and with an air cleaner intake, it should improve further.

Bought Sunday, arrived Tuesday. Had em on in 20 minutes. Make sure you polish them to get all the oil from your skin off before you start bike. The clamps from V&H have oil on them to prevent corrosion during storage. This will burn off and smell for a while. Don't freak out. They are deep and throaty when you want, quiet down around 2000 rpm.. Which I like.

Will these fit my 2024 road glide
Yessir! Just choose the 2024 Harley Davidson FLTRK Road Glide Limited Vance & Hines slip-on exhaust from our fit guide and you'll be ready to rumble, with more sound, in no time!
By Anon.
Yes, if you were to select the 2005 Harley Davidson FLHR Road King (or any other 2005 model year HD Touring bike), you'd receive the correct exhaust components to fit your machine. That's because every touring model for that year uses the exact same muffler mounting configuration, header diameter &etc., across the model range.
By Cameron
The baffles are not difficult to remove, at least, not when the exhaust is brand new! Though, after a few years of riding, the constant heating and cooling of the pipes and dissimilar metals used for the bolts, baffles and muffler sleeves, it can be difficult to do so later on. To ameliorate this problem we recommend that you apply high-temperature anti-seize to the bolts that secure the baffles in place before you install the mufflers on your machine. In doing so, you'll save yourself a lot of grief in the future should you decide that you want to pull that baffles.
By Cajun Injun
Vance and Hines only offers a 2:1 Pro Pipe for the Yamaha XVS1300A V-Star 1300 at this time due to the factory 2:1 design from Yamaha.
By Anon.
Slip-on mufflers do not require the installation of a Fuel Pak unless they are also paired with aftermarket headers and an intake. If the rest of the bike is stock it would not be required.
By Steve
These mufflers, along with all other Vance & Hines exhausts, ship from the factory with a set of standard baffles installed. You'll want to choose the standard baffle selection on your FP3 when fitting these mufflers.
By Anon.
It's pretty simple, actually. Each baffle is secured with a single bolt. Just unscrew the bolt and slide the baffle straight out the back of the pipe. Just be sure to apply a little anti-seize each bolt before you install the mufflers so as to prevent them from seizing up. Otherwise, over time, the heat and contact between dissimilar metals tends to weld the bolt to the baffle, which makes removing those bolts a real pain! With anti-seize, you won't have to worry about that at all!
By Anon.
Yes, if you were to choose the V&H Twin Slash Round slip-on mufflers for the 2018 Harley FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited, you'd get the proper exhaust to fit your machine!
By Mike
In most cases, on fuel-injected bikes at least - you can bolt these mufflers on and hit the road. The OEM ECU maps will probably be able to compensate for the change without issue. If the bike appears to be running well, then you've got nothing to worry about. Still, if you want to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance out of the machine, we highly recommend a Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 to along with it. The tuner is easy to install and configure with the use of an iOS or Android smartphone.
By Mike S.
Yes, just choose the 2011 Kawasaki VN1700J Vulcan 1700 Vaquero from our fit guide. You'll get the correct Vaquero aftermarket exhaust to fit your bike.
By Anon.
Do i.need to replace the header pipes also.
No, the V&H Twin Slash Round Slip-On mufflers will bolt straight onto the OEM headers. There's no need to purchase any aftermarket header pipes to fit these mufflers to any of the bikes listed in our fit guide!
By James
If your bike already has a FLTRX Fuelpak on it, you'll want to re-configure it to work with this exhaust. In doing so, you'll get the biggest power benefits possible out of the new mufflers. If the Fuelpak you have is an Road Glide FP3 from Vance & Hines, just use the free Vance & Hines Fuelpak app to make the requisite changes.
By WT
If, by down tubes you mean headers- so long as the headers you're using are designed to work with the OEM mufflers, then you should have no problem fitting these mufflers to those headers. Generally speaking, unless otherwise noted - all Vance & Hines slip-on mufflers are designed to work with the stock headers, or headers that work with stock mufflers.
By Jim
The price is indeed for a pair of mufflers. You only need to order a quantity of one to replace both of the stock mufflers on your machine.
By Lou
The Vance & Hines baffles that come with the Twin Slash round slip-on mufflers do not include any wrapping. For that reason, Vance & Hines refers these baffles as of a maintenance-free design.
By Jim Morrison
Torque cones were generally required on older, less-than-well-designed exhausts to solve off-throttle engine response. In the case of these slip-on mufflers, you won't see any benefit with torque cones. If you wanted to get the most out of these mufflers, however, we highly recommend the installation of some sort of fuel tuning device, specifically, a Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3. With that unit, you'll be assured the best possible throttle response and the most engine power possible, all with a simple-to-install device that's also very easy to adjust.
By Henry
If the original gaskets are in good condition, there's no need to replace them. However, if you're concerned with their condition or just want to put new ones in, we do have Cometic exhaust gaskets available in packs of ten.
By Henry
Yes, the baffles can indeed be removed to make the exhaust louder.
By Anon.
Yes. Vance & Hines exhausts have a provision for installing the oxygen sensor on machines that have on fitted to the stock exhaust system.
