Definitely an improvement in sound and a nice little increase in overall exhaust volume. Removing the old exhaust was kind of a pain because of the cross pipe. Very easy installation, but you will definitely need to get the port gaskets to make sure they fit properly with no leaks. You’re supposed to use the old gaskets but that doesn’t work because taking them out of the old mufflers ruins them. I had to order mine from a Suzuki parts dealer online. Just make sure you have those when installing so you don’t have to wait two weeks for the gaskets like I had to.

These pipes were bought for my 2008 suzuki s83 ... you may have a different model that they will fit. The pipes were a pretty easy install. Of course on my bike, getting the original ones off was a little more than a walk in the park, since there is a steel connector pipe that attaches both pipes across the middle. Keep in mind, that the pipes ship out without the needed reducers to assure a tight fit on a s83 model, since there is play in the pipes coming from the header. All in all, you won't find a better price anywhere ... at least not with Cobras' name on them.

Will these work on a 2004 susuki intruder vs800?

Yes, this will indeed fit the 2004 model year Suzuki Intruder VS800. Simply choose the 2004 Suzuki VS800GL Intruder 800 from the drop down menu that's to the right of the image on the web page and you'll get the correct exhaust to fit your bike. Also, to get the most performance out of that exhaust, you'll want to adjust fueling with the appropriate jet kit. A Cobra Carburetor Jet kit is designed specifically to work with this exhaust. You may find that, without adjusting fuel delivery, the engine will stumble at cruising speeds or just fall flat when you grab a handful of throttle. With that jet kit - you won't have to worry about those issues at all.
