Just recently installed the Vance and Hines V02 on my 2006 Road King. What a difference it made from stock air cleaner. I don't like to read so I'm glad there were picture illustrations to make installation easy! The difference over stock is outstanding. Better throttle response through all the gears. Even gave the exhaust a different sound. Already had the Vance and Hines Classic 4 in turn down slip-ons. Better fuel economy to boot. We all know stock is restrictive and horse power robbing. The VO2 intake is a very inexpensive way to put more horses back in your bike. Installation take about and hour or so.

Do not buy this. After having problems with poor threading on the mounting plate and stripping a bolt when attempting installation I looked around and discovered that I was not the only one to have threading issues. Unless you have a tap and die kit and want to use it to complete basic installation, stay away! Check out the forums and reviews on other sites for yourself.

Yes, Vance & Hines Naked air cleaners are designed to work with the OEM air cleaner cover. So long as it's the stock cover that you have on your machine, you should have no problem fitting it to the Naked Vance & Hines air cleaner kit.
