Does the rear head pipe on a 2017 Ultra go behind the engine and down and behind the outer primary or does it have a crossover pipe underneath like stock?

The layout of these pipes has the header that feeds the left side muffler crossing under the frame just in front of the rear tire.

Will these fit a 2023 road glide with cobra mufflers that are the 2 different sizes? And do these come with new exhaust gaskets ?

I put cobra slip on on my stock headers, the cobra slip on are 2 different sizes and the went right on my stock headers. If I swap out my stock headers for these cobra headers ,will my cobra slip ons fit right on these?

Yes, 2023 Harley Davidson FLTRX Road Glide Cobra mufflers will indeed work with these headers as they're setup to work with mufflers of that configuration. The outlets on these headers are of two different sizes in order to match OEM mufflers, and of course, any mufflers that fit the OEM Harley headers. With regard to gaskets, no - none are included with the headers. If the ones already on the bike are in good shape, you can always re-use those. If you're not sure as to their condition, we do have a wide variety of replacement exhaust gaskets available on our website that you can get along with the headers to be sure you won't have any exhaust leaks off the cylinder heads.

These headers re-use many of the OEM brackets to complete the installation. And, wherever the OEM parts won't do the trick, those are included with the kit. There's no need to buy any additional fittings, hardware, or brackets to fit these pipes to any bike you select from our fit guide.

You would want to select a 1997 FLHR Road King when adding to your cart. FLHR is the Harley abbreviation for the Road King model. These Cobra True Duals Headers would fit that bike as long as you choose that model when adding to your cart.

As long as you choose your exact model 2007 Harley Davidson FLHTCU Ultra Classic Electra Glide from the drop down and your frame is that of a 2007 you should have no problem getting them installed. The frames are different 2009 and up.

Unfortunately, Cobra doesn't produce a set of True Duals headers that will fit the '14 Street Glide Special. They do, however, have two options for your bike in the form of the Cobra Power Port Dual Bung Head Pipes or the Cobra Power Port True Dual Header Pipes. The only difference between those two systems is that the former includes bungs for plugging in stock OR aftermarket oxygen sensors. The latter option is only for those that don't plan on using an aftermarket exhaust tuner now, or in the future since some O2 sensor kits require bung plugs of a different diameter than stock. So, if you're not going to do much with tuning, select the latter header pipes to fit your bike.

If you were to select the 1997 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide from our fit guide, you'd get the correct header pipes to fit your machine. As far as fuel tuning is concerned, Cobra makes the perfect FLHTCUI fuel tuner to go along with their headers in the form of an Fi2000R fuel controller. You'll certainly want to use the Fi2000R to tune your bike upon installation of these Cobra headers so as to ensure the best possible throttle response and power delivery. Best of all, the included instructions show you exactly how to adjust the unit (there are only three dials on the tuner) so as to get the most out of the engine.

I think you'll find that these headers are just the ticket, but there is one caveat to your requirements. You'll need a set of aftermarket mufflers to go along with them. The headers in question are compatible with just about any aftermarket muffler that fits the stock headers since the outlet diameter and position is the same as stock. We have quite the variety of Cobra mufflers to go along with these headers.

So long as you were to choose the 2003 FLHT Electra Glide Standard Cobra exhuast from our fit guide, you'd have no problem fitting these headers to your bike as it shares basically everything with the police variant. As far as hardware is concerned - everything you need is included in the box, albeit, you will have to re-use some of the OEM hardware in order to complete the installation. So long as you have the stock exhaust on your bike, you'll have everything you need.

Yes, these Cobra head pipes will work with Vance & Hines slip-on mufflers. In fact, they're compatible with just about every aftermarket Harley-Davidson muffler that fits the OEM headers. In other words, the muffler-to-header interface is the same as the OEM headers.The big difference is the plumbing upstream of the link between the headers and mufflers that's been modified for optimal performance.

Provided the Vance & Hines mufflers you currently have on your machine bolt straight up to the OEM headers without issue, then yes - you won't have any problems fitting this header kit to those mufflers. All of Cobra's Road King header kits are designed to work with the stock mufflers and anything that's a direct replacement for the stock mufflers. It'll all bolt together with ease.

The only thing you'll need to go along with the headers are either, the stock mufflers or any mufflers that fit the OEM headers. As far as gaskets or any other parts are concerned, so long as you have the OEM exhaust system on your machine, you should be all set as you will need to re-use some of the stock mounting hardware in order to install the headers. As for the exhaust port gaskets, they're not included in any of the exhausts that we sell. If the ones already on the bike are in good shape, you can always re-use those. Yes, you should absolutely adjust fueling with the installation of Cobra's True Duals head pipes. In this way, you can be assured the maximum benefit possible with these performance headers. Any time you make such a drastic change in the way exhaust gases leave the engine, you'll need to change fueling if you expect your bike to respond properly to your throttle input. We have a few options available, depending on which bike it is that you have. If your machine happens to be carbureted, we recommend a Cobra Carburetor jet kit. They've been specifically designed by Cobra to work with their exhaust systems (including headers) and intakes. In the instance your bike is fuel-injected and you're not particularly smartphone-savvy, have a look at the Vance & Hines FP3 Fuelpak. The user interface is rather simple and straight forward - just set it and forget it. The FP3 as simply flashes each programming change to the ECU based upon the configuration you specify using the smartphone interface. If you enjoy playing with fueling, Cobra's PowrPro Black may be what you need. This unit continuously adjusting fueling in real time, so no matter what environmental conditions you're riding in, you can be assured the best possible throttle response. The smartphone interface for this unit isn't quite as intuitive, but the benefits are an excellent compromise compared to the V&H unit. In both cases for the fuel-injected machines, you will need an Android or iOS type of smart phone as they require some user input to configure them correctly.

Without question, the Cobra Power Port True Duals will produce more power, especially in the low to mid-RPM ranges. As these are the power settings where you'll be spending most of your time, anyway, you'll get the most benefit of the Cobra Power Port duals exhaust layout. This is by virtue of the fact that, while it has the looks of a true dual exhaust, it's plumbed to act like that of a two-into-one layout. And two-into-one exhausts produce the most power when it comes to V-twin engines.

It depends on which bike you wish to install the header upgrade kit. Cobra Dual Header Pipes for 1995-2006 Touring Harleys do not include a provision for an oxygen sensor. For the 2007-2008 model year bikes, Cobra True Dual Headers are fitted with a 18 mm x 1.5 O2 sensor bung.
