Great clutch set. However it does not come with the two small inner rings. You must reuse the original ones. But you will find yourself holding on to the handlebars a little tighter when you release the lever.

Yes, you can reuse the OEM pressure plate and spring with this kit. Please note that the kit for that 1996 FLHT does require use of the OEM double riveted drive plate.

If you are not running the bike that hard you can get by with the standard rate spring. If you want some better engagement and prevent any kind of slippage, then go with the heavy duty version.
2006 Yamaha Royal Star Venture, if I order the Barnett carbon fiber clutch plate kit, it looks like the kit does not include springs. Is there anything else I could possibly need that does not come in the kit?

You would want to get a clutch cover gasket in order to seal the cover up when done installing the clutch.

Barnett does not currently offer a Carbon Fiber clutch to fit the 2004 Yamaha XVS1100A V-Star 1100 Classic. They do offer a Kevlar (Aramid Fiber) clutch kit. You can find that kit by searching "Barnett Aramid Fiber Clutch Plate Set" in our store search bar.

Barnett's Carbon Fiber Clutch Plate Kits have about the same friction surface area as the OEM clutch plates on the model you select from our fit guide. Depending on what machine it is that you have, Barnett does produce a Kevlar Extra Plate clutch kit which does increase the friction surface area. If that's what you need, choose the Extra Plate clutch kit over the Carbon Fiber kit here.
This kit is both steel and fiber

Barnett's Carbon Fiber Clutch Plate Kits come with both, carbon fiber-lined friction plates and steel separator plates. There are, however, no springs included in the kit.
In the instance you need those components and a set of clutch springs, check out the Barnett Carbon Fiber Complete Clutch Kit as that comes with the aforementioned steel and fiber plates along with the proper set of springs to fit the applications listed in our fit guide.
