Got it dialed in and it's head and shoulders above stock. Only complaint, would have been nice if a better spring tension tool would have been included. One included was sub par!

The installation instructions were very good. Using the Victory operator's manual, the removal and installation processes worked very well. After the installation I was able to make all of the necessary measurements, take an adequate test run and then make a final adjustment to the shock spring. The unit performs well and I look forward to many miles of trouble-free performance. At the same time I was also replacing one of my throttle cables and hand grips and mirrors. All is well.

The shock appears to be a good product. It fit great and was simple to install. The two spacers that were supposed to come with the shock were either missing or I lost them. My bike is way more stable and no more back end sloshes. The ride is firm and controlled, but the bumps are well damped. It's a big improvement over the stock shock. It shows me how bad the OEM shock was. I'm very happy and would recommend this shock. It's also a great value.

Answer QuestionVictory used different length shocks on the Kingpin, which is why you have to measure the OEM shock in order to be sure of getting the right one for your bike. If your Kingpin's OEM shock is over 14" long at full extension, then you need to order the long version. If the shock is less than 14" long, then you should go with the short length shock from Progressive.
