Had to buy larger bolts for the top bracket and had to slot top bracket holes so would line up better. Took a little longer to install. The pipes are well built and I like the way they fit in cutouts on the Triglide. Not as loud as I like but my wife will like.

Well made, just takes time to install the right way. Probably your last exhaust issue.

Answer QuestionWhile it's not required, we do highly recommend that you adjust your bike's fuel delivery to get the most out of the improved exhaust flow that these, or any other exhaust components we sell. Depending on where you live (altitude, climate, fuel quality &etc.) - you may find that your bike operates just fine without re-mapping the ECU. Or, you may find that the bike operates well at certain power settings, but not all of them. As is the case with this exhaust, you'll probably find that it works great when you give it a handful, but the engine may stutter or miss at cruising speeds or when accelerating at less than 2/3 throttle. This is due to the fact that the bike will be running lean at partial throttle settings as soon as you put the pipes on. Whether or not that this is acceptable to you, of course, is completely your decision. If you're putting it on a 2010-2011 FLHXXX or a 2009-2016 FLHTCUTG and you have an Android or iOS smartphone, we recommend a Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 to get the best bang for your buck in terms of engine performance and throttle response. The device is simple to use and can easily be configured to adjust fuel delivery for other aftermarket accessories such as a complete exhaust system or a new intake setup. It can handle pretty much any changes outside of massive internal engine upgrades. The interface is simple to use and it literally takes five minutes to put it on the bike.
