Questions & Answers

Ask Question

Could 4 of these be installed on an original 4 into 4 exhaust system ?

These mufflers are designed to fit pretty much any machine that has a 1-3/8", 1-1/2" and 1-5/8" diameter pipe at the outlet of the header pipe. From there, you'll need to fabricate the requisite mounting brackets in order to fit them in a workmanlike manner to your machine. So long as you're comfortable with doing some work building those brackets, you can fit these mufflers to pretty much anything you want, so long as the inlet pipe diameter matches your needs.

Answer Question

is there a right side pipe and a left side pipe?

These pipes are actually ambidextrous in that, the bracket you see in the photo isn't fixed in place. You are to rotate it, bend it and/or cut is as required in order to complete the installation on your machine. Of course, you could also fabricate your own bracket as the muffler is designed to be used on any custom installation that will fit a 1-3/8", 1-1/2" or 1-5/8" pipe.

Answer Question

Any other piping

I want to run the muffler stright back do I need any additional piping

So long as the machine you're putting it on has a pipe diameter of 1-3/8", 1-1/2" or 1-5/8" where it connects to the muffler, there won't be any need for additional piping. As far as the direction it goes, that's down to the angle of the piping where it's attached to your bike. If that points straight back, then so will the muffler.
