Answer QuestionYes, you can indeed clean these filters when they become dirty. For these particular filters, a K&N Air Filter ReCharger Kit as it comes with both, a detergent and air filter oil. Everything you need to clean the S&S air filter is included in that box from K&N.

Answer QuestionThis particular air filter fits all S&S Super E and Super G carburetors with the factory S&S backing plate and teardrop air cleaner cover. It will also fit newer style S&S air cleaners assemblies for stock carbs or with a single bore throttle body. The inside diameter of his replacement filter is 5-1/8 inches. This air filter will not fit the S&S Super B air cleaners.
